Seok-Jin received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo, where he studied molecular genetics and molecular biology. Before joining the LGR, he received his postdoctoral training at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and worked as a staff scientist in the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute. Seok-Jin has extensive experience in several types of NGS library sample prep and applications to researching genomics and epigenetics.
