Philamon Leon Hemstreet is a Lab Automation Engineer at the LGR. Fascinated by the intersection of biology, software, and technology, Philamon earned his undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before moving to the Bay Area. Philamon’s prior industry experience centered around building robust, high-throughput automated systems. He is excited to enable the exemplary scientists at the LGR by implementing state-of-the-art equipment for functional genomics research.
