Marcus Huinan Li is a stem cell specialist at the LGR. Prior to joining LGR, he was a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF and an Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Diseases developing project primary investigator focusing mainly on investigating TDP-43 proteinopathy in Frontal Temporal Lobar Degeneration disease background via iPSC-induced neurons, astrocytes and microglia-like cell 3D culture systems. At the LGR, he is leveraging his stem cell culture experience and combining CRISPR genome editing technique, next generation sequencing and automation systems to understand disease-relevant cell biology.
